The Huck Lace Show towel is linen color, 100% cotton. Machine wash: cold, dry: med. Slightly raised diamond figure, with "lace" Woven across bottom and top. Two tabs at top corners for hanging. The show towel dates back to the 1500s. It was meant to be a treasured work of art and would have been hung on the back of the master chamber door to be admired. In later years, hand work began to make an appearance in the form of embroidery, knotted fringe, applique or needlepoint.
